CL-SG-P-B/U-T111 Bi-Directional Sliding Brake Assembly
A bi-directional and uni-directional sliding brake assembly designed for elevator installations in which the guide rails are mounted in reverse. Fitted with the direction arrow facing upwards, it grips the guide rail to brake the car when the counterweight accelerates it upwards and provides controlled braking in the downward direction. Protective oil must be thoroughly cleaned from the rail before the first car movement.
