CL-SG-P-B/U-T12 Bi-Directional Sliding Brake Assembly
A bi-directional and uni-directional sliding brake assembly for elevator installations where pit depth or top-floor height is limited. Mounted with the direction arrow facing upwards, it clamps the guide rail to brake the car when the counterweight accelerates it upwards and provides controlled braking in the downward direction. Protective oil must be cleaned from the rail before first car movement.
