ESIT-DR-B dynamic railway wagon scales are automatic weighing instruments that measure without separating the wagons from the train. The total weight of the wagons and the train combination is determined by evaluating each axle weight, and the system is mainly used for weighing load-carrying trains while saving significant time and labour cost. The scales are installed on a suitable segment of track at loading and unloading stations; the train passes at a specific constant speed, axle weights are measured in motion and the data is sent to a connected PC. The PC calculates speed, wagon weights and total train weight, determines net weights by double weighing or from pre-entered tare data, and prints the required information.
