Wabi Sabi (Beauty in Imperfection): Our collection is inspired by Wabi Sabi, a philosophy of life that emerged in 16th-century Japan and highlights the perfection of imperfection. Because it embraces ways of living such as simplicity and harmony with nature, natural colours are preferred in the products of the wabi-sabi-influenced collection. While Wabi represents qualities such as simplicity and naturalness, Sabi represents the beauty added by the passage of time and the embrace of the imperfections that emerge along the way. This philosophy is born from the balanced harmony of these two concepts. Sabi reflects the perfection of life's imperfections with colours drawn from nature, each piece crafted by hand with its own distinct pattern, for bold colours and elegant presentations. Through pattern variations arising from hand craftsmanship, it emphasises the beauty that comes from imperfection and brings a different approach to your table. Wabi Sabi states that everything imperfect is more aesthetic and beautiful, reflecting the elegance that arises from simplicity through the natural colours used.
